For this reason, lighting has been used in genres such as landscape lighting, nightlife lighting, architectural lighting, theater lighting and interior decorator lighting. Lighting is a versatile form of expression and can be used for art, design, architecture and film. Lighting can be wasteful of energy. However, lighting technologies have improved to be more energy efficient, with the introduction of LEDs and CFLs which require less energy than conventional lighting solutions.
